Monday Evening League at Flying "B"

Addendum Rules for 2025
Injury / Sick player
- If a regular league team member will be unable to participate for 4 weeks or more due to sicknes or injury, that team may employ a sub for the duration of the players' absence. Providing that:
-- They play a non-league round to establish a handicap.
-- That team must use the same sub for the length the team members absense. (if they employ a second sub, then the sub penalty will apply the rounds where the second sub was used.)

Playoff Rounds
Must be completed within 2 weeks of session end.

Handicap Bonus
- At season start, each returning team will be given a 2 stroke handicap bonus.
- This handicap bonus does not apply to teams are new to the league in the current year. Since they are required to play at least 1 -18 hole round to establish their handicap.

Wild Card for Playoffs
- There will be 2 wildcard teams inldued in the playoffs for championship rounds
1. Team with the highest points total who is not already in the playoff. (Technically, 3rd place.)
2. A team will be chosen by a random selection from among the teams who are not already occupying 1st or 2nd place for either the first half or second half of the season.

What is there's tie?
In the event of a points tie, we will review the most recent score card to detirmine the winner of the tie.
Addendum Rules for 2023
Handicap
- All team handicaps will automatically receive a 2 stroke improvement at season start.
- Example: If your team ended with a handicap of 4, your 2023 starting handicap is a 6.
- Playoff handicaps will use the most recent week’s handicap, not the lowest of the season.

Dues and Skins Games Entry Fees
- League dues ($60) must be submitted before the first match.
- Games entry fee: $50 full season. Must be completed within 2 weeks of session end.

Make-up Rounds Modifications
- Must be made up before the next scheduled league play.
- Can be played any time before the next match, including prior to the missed one.
- Eligible for regular and net skins, but NOT Super Skins.
- Weather cancellations result in 5 points awarded to both teams.
- Solo team player must still play their round and apply handicap.
- The two shot rule and single player rule apply.
- Can be played any time before the next match, including prior to the missed one.

Gentlemen’s Rule Regarding Practice Rounds
No practice rounds on the same side of the course as that day’s league match.

- May not drop to improve line to green if obstructed by immovable object.

- Does NOT affect season-long team handicap.
- Ineligible for Super Skins that match, but eligible for all other prizes.

- Point Split: Each team receives 3.5 points (Rule from 2024 Committee).

- That team may - without pentaly - temporarily join a sub as a team member for the duration of the sickness.
- That team MUST play a non-league round to establish a handicap.
- When the official team member returns to play, the handicap is returned to the value prior to the sickness absence.
Points Tie
- In the event of a points tie between teams, at the competion of a half or season;
- The strokes Net on the last scorecord will be used to determine the winner.
